Teaching Philosophy
My approach is grounded in a simple belief: students should leave the classroom not only with new knowledge, but with the sense that they have experienced something meaningful. I aim for learning that resonates long after the formal requirements of the course are completed.
To achieve this, I design courses so that students do not merely learn about psychological concepts — they experience them. Each class integrates hands-on activities, demonstrations, and real-time applications that connect theory to lived experience.
A central component is the use of technology-enhanced tools: AI-guided simulations, interactive tasks, and web-based platforms where students participate in online questionnaires and behavioral tasks. Results are processed automatically and incorporated directly into the lecture, turning the classroom into an active research environment.
AI-Enhanced Pedagogy
Live Experimental Simulations
Real-time emotion perception experiments during class sessions. Students participate as both researchers and subjects, with AI enabling instant data aggregation and visualization.
In Vivo Data Analysis
Class-generated data analyzed in real time, letting students observe how raw responses transform into meaningful psychological insights.
Study Replications
Students conduct systematic replications of influential emotion perception studies with AI streamlining data collection, teaching both classic findings and modern practices.
Critical AI Literacy
Training students to evaluate AI outputs critically, understand its limitations, and recognize when human judgment is essential — preparing them as thoughtful practitioners.
